The West Keansburg Fire company has been serving the Township of Hazlet and surrounding communities since 1925.

Along with the Hazlet Fire Company #1 and the North Centerville Fire Company, West Keansburg Fire Company protects a 5.6 square mile radius.  Hazlet consists of bedroom communities with many businesses on State Highways 36 and 35.  Multiple shopping centers, as well as a major frangrance manufacturing plant call Hazlet home.  Hazlet also has a New Jersey Transit train station as well as a portion of the Garden State Parkway.

2009

The Company Also responds to mutual aid calls when requested.   This is when other boroughs or townships from our area call the company for assistance at large scale incidents, cover assignments, and any other request for help.  Some of the recent calls were in Keansburg, Union Beach and Holmdel.

The Company is always looking for new members.
You must be 18-46 years of age
Pass a physical privided by the Hazlet Fire District
Complete a Firefighter 1 Training program
All other training privided by the company
Follow all rules established by the membership
